Heavily influenced
by mythological and religious imagery, Grider’s spray-paint
work is playful while conveying a darker sense of foreboding, sometimes
unfolding in eerie post-apocalyptic scenery. Every image tells it’s
own story, a snapshot of some epic adventure he hopes will live on
in the memory of the viewer.
“Maybe twenty years
from now, two strangers will meet in some far away place and figure
out that they both grew up down the block from the giant, blue billy-goat,”
says Grider.
